Acquisition: Implementation of Interoperability and Information Assurance Policies for Acquisition of Air Force Systems

Abstract

This report is the fourth in a series of reports on the implementation of interoperability and information assurance (IA) policies within DoD. This report addresses the Air Force's implementation of those policies in the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System, inclusion of adequate interoperability key performance parameters (KPPs) in requirements documents, and the interoperability certification process for Air Force acquisition programs.
