Information Technology: DoD FY 2004 Implementation of the Federal Information Security Management Act for Information Technology Training and Awareness

Abstract

The overall audit objective was to assess DoD implementation of title III, section 301, "Federal Information Security Management Act," of the E-Government Act of 2002 (Public Law 107-347). Specifically, we evaluated whether all agency employees, including contractors, received IT security training and awareness and whether employees with significant IT security responsibilities were properly trained for their level of responsibility.
