Shoreline and Channel Erosion Protection: Overview of Alternatives

Abstract

This technical note describes alternatives that can be used separately or in combination to control erosion along wetland shorelines and bank lines. The advantages and disadvantages of each alternative are discussed in this technical note, along with the common reasons for failure.
