Official Guard and Reserve Manpower Strengths and Statistics, FY 1981 Summary

Abstract

This report is produced from each Reserve Component's input to the Reserve Components Common Personnel Data System (RCCPDS) submitted under Report Control Symbols (RCS) DD-M-(M) 1147 and 1148. For more information about RCCPDS, please refer to DoD Instruction 7730.54. The primary objective of the RCCPDS is twofold, that is, it provides a: (1) standardized and (2) centralized data base containing personnel information on all members of the Reserve Forces. Established in this fashion, the system has become the official source for Reserve Component strength and the official source for accession/loss/reenlistment information.
