Department of Defense (DoD) Freedom of Information Act Program Report for Fiscal Year (FY) 2002

Abstract

During fiscal year (FY) 2O02. a total of 76,75O public requests for records under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) were completed by the Department of Defense DoD. In the processing of these cases, the Department of Defense fully denied 2,399 and partially denied 11,133 out of 76,750 requests on the basis of FOIA exemptions.
