Revolution in Military Affairs - Information-Based Warfare: A Panel Discussion with Clausewitz and Sun Tzu

Abstract

As we speak, we are experiencing a revolution in military affairs (RMA) This RMA is information-based warfare In the past, information, i.e., intelligence, has driven our threat-based preparations for war, and to a lesser extent information, i.e, propaganda and disinformation, has also driven our actual conduct of war In the future, however, information-based warfare will be an even greater combat multipher on the battlefield. This RMA will drive new developments in materiel, doctrine, training, organization, and personnel.
