THz Radiation Device Using High-Tc Superconducting Intrinsic Josephson Junctions

Abstract

This study investigates THz-range active devices fabricated out of stacked intrinsic Josephson junctions on Bi-2212 or Tl-2223 single crystals by micropatterning a mesa structure and ion-beam dry etching.
