Cannon Air Force base New Mexico, Installation of Digital Airport Surveillance Radar, Final Environmental Assessment

Abstract

Environmental Assessment (SA) to analyze the potential impacts of installation of a Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASE) on Cannon Air Force Base New Mexico. The proposed action is part of the National Airspace System (SAS) program developed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in cooperation with the Department of Defense (DoD) to modernize approach control systems in the United States and it territories. The DASR System is designed to replace the current AN/GPN-2O system at Cannon AFB.
