An Assessment of External Organizational Marketing at Naval Aviation Depot (NADEP) North Island

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to assess the competitive position of the Naval Aviation Depot at North Island (NADEP North Island) within the defense aircraft repair and re-work industry and offer recommendations for an external marketing plan that will reduce threats to the organization and enhance its competitive position. This project was conducted with the assistance of NADEP North Island. The goals of this project are to assess the competitive position of NADEP North Island, to identify threats to the organization, and then to offer recommendations for external organizational marketing that will reduce or mitigate these threats to the organization. The organizational marketing campaign should serve to strengthen external stakeholder interest in NADEP North Island, thereby reducing threats to the organization and increasing its competitive position in today's unique defense environment.
