Abstract

MarAd, over the past several years, sponsored a series of studies on the level of technology in U.S. shipyards. In fiscal year 1980, MarAd and Avondale cooperated on a "Technical Evaluation of Avondale's Production Operations and Organization, the Development of a Long Range Facilities Plan, and the Integration of Both," under contract No. M9-80-DOC-01017.
