Sea Basing

Abstract

This briefing charts discuss sea basing, high-speed/high capacity connectors are identified and analyzed. Also discussed are connector-to-platform interfaces for operations through sea states, recommendations, near-term and long-term technology developments to achieve desired capability, critical function drives connector requirements, observations, critical obstacles, overcoming air connector obstacles, overcoming surface connector obstacles, operational concept, overcoming platform obstacles, material handling, and total sea based systems engineering.
