Effect of Structural Heat Conduction on the Propagation of Flames in Microchannels

Abstract

The objective of this work was to investigate the physics of fluid structure coupling that occurs in chemically reacting systems operating at micro-scales. The investigation used carbon monoxide in a silicon micro-comrbustor and parallel plate reactor.
