New and Novel Technologies in Particulate Filtration

Abstract

Why should we look at particulate filtration improvements? (1) Old goals are not yet achieved (Provides ZERO pressure drop - Is self cleaning and never loads up - Never needs to be changed - Occupies no more than 1/10 cubic inch of space - Is weightless, but certainly no more than a few micrograms - Is undetectable by any method - invisible); (2) Research is changing paradigms; (3) Testing is revealing areas for improvement.
