Abstract

CONCLUSIONS: (1) gem-Bis (difluoramino)-substituted nitrogen heterocycles pose an inherently difficult synthesis; (2) TEDDZ offers great prospects but experimental complications; (3) Diazocinedione basicity is main obstacle; (4) Alternative routes to this system are being pursued; (5) Alternative difluoramination reagents are being pursued.
