Security Deposits

Abstract

This thesis examines current state laws concerning security deposits, analyzes trends in the changing of those laws, and discusses how those changes have effected the military. This thesis concludes the turbulance in landlord-tenant law unfolds excellent opportunities for the military community and that these opportunities need to be exploited to the benefit of the soldier-tenant while mindsets, community practices, and the law are still being settled.
