Abrasive Testing Cabinets: A State of the Art Study

Abstract

The purpose of this mini-study was to investigate the ability of existing abrasive test cabinets to be used as standard equipment for evaluating abrasives. These are abrasives used to prepare steel surfaces for coating. This work is to be presented to SNAME Panel 023-1 for their consideration for further research into developing an abrasive test standard.
