Abstract

This document is the final report of the program V910 Munitions: Functioning, Safety and Environmental aspects. The program started in November 2000 and ended in June 2005. The program was divided into six major themes: Qualification and Classification of explosive substances, Insensitive Munitions, Environmental aspects, Components of munitions, Response of munitions to IM-threats and Detonation and sensitivity of explosives. Much of the results and expertise obtained or gathered in this program has already been used in related programs and additional funding project. It will also be useful for the Dutch MOD in their DMP process and can be used in answering their questions/problems on the area of the functioning, safety and environmental aspects of munitions.
