Fast Detection of Ciprofloxacin Resistance - Part II

Abstract

The fast method for detection of ciprofloxacin resistance in bacteria, as described in a previous report, is extended to additional pathogens, including Brucella melitensis (causative agent of Brucellosis), Yersinia pestis (causative agent of Plague) and Staphylococcus aureus (including MRSA strains). The method is validated with several strains of these pathogens.
