Nonlinear Dynamic Maximum Power Theorem, with Numerical Method

Abstract

This paper considers the problem of maximizing the energy or average power transfer from a nonlinear dynamic n-port source. The main theorem includes as special cases the standard linear result Y load = Y*source and a recent finding for nonlinear resistive networks. An operator equation for the optimal output voltage (v.) is derived, and a numerical method for solving it is given.
