Reproductive Ecology of Vallisneria americana Michaux

Abstract

Nearly 20 years have passed since Korschgen and Green's publication (1988) on the ecology of Vallisneria americana, as a guide for restoration programs. While their report provides a wealth of important information, a great deal of research has been generated since their review was conducted. This technical note presents an update on the reproductive ecology of V. americana, based on available literature, much of which was published over the last two decades.
