Department of Defense Performance and Accountability Report, Fiscal Year 2006

Abstract

The Department of Defense Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 Performance and Accountability Report (PAR) provides the President, Congress, other Federal departments and agencies, and the American public with an overview of the Department's financial condition. Essentially, the PAR is equivalent to the private sector's annual report to their stockholders and includes an assessment of program performance.
