Encoding and Displaying ATR Designations in SAR Images

Abstract

Automatic target recognition (ATR) may be integrated into advanced imagery exploitation capabilities. The design of the imagery analyst's interface can be expected to determine both the usability/operability of the aid and its acceptance by the user community. This study reports on exploratory development and evaluation of such an interface.
