User's Manual for the Tonpilz-Window Interaction Model (TWIM) Program

Abstract

The Tonpilz-Window Interaction Model (TWIM) program calculates the element receive response of an array of Tonpilz sensors that resides behind an elastomeric sonar window loaded on the front side with a fluid that contains an acoustic pressure. This program allows the user to build a mathematical model of a Tonpilz array that is in contact with a fluid-loaded sonar window. This user's manual explains the program in detail and includes sample output and flowcharts.
