Sundials, Circular of the Bureau of Standards, No. 402

Abstract

This circular gives instructions for the construction of a horizontal sundial, with drawings showing the method of laying out the dial. It also gives a table showing the equation of time, some mottos that have been used on sundials, and a bibliography of books on the subject of sundials. It also provides a short introduction on sundials.
