Environmental Assessment for Shoreline Stabilization at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia

Abstract

The United States Air Force (Air Force), 1st Fighter Wing (1 FW) proposes to implement various methods to stabilize the shoreline at several locations along the Back River waterfront at Langley Air Force Base (AFB). This Environmental Assessment (EA) provides an analysis of the potential environmental consequences associated with the proposed action and the no action alternative, per the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) (42 United States Code [USC] 4321 et seq.).
