Novel Pixilated Polarimeter and Associated Nanoimprinting Techniques, to Address Advanced Imaging Applications

Abstract

The final objective of this contract is to improve nano-optical sub-components and then further to demonstrate a monolithically integrated nano-optical pixilated-array polarimeter. In parallel, part of the goal of this project is also to develop a low-cost web-to-web nanoimprint system/method/process for more efficiently making low-cost nano-structured optical devices directly onto plastic sheets. In the final report, we will report and summarize all the results and progresses which we have made during the whole phase-I program. We have made tremendous progress during this program. The results outperform our original expectation.
