Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Guidebook

Abstract

There are three goals for developing the DOD DMSMS Guidebook: 1) To define a proactive DMSMS management process that can be used by a Program Manager (PM) to build an effective DMSMS Program; 2) To define DMSMS support metrics to measure the effectiveness of a proactive DMSMS Program; 3) To promote cost-effective supply chain management integrity through DMSMS problem resolution at the lowest (cost, time, functional) level.
