"Developing Future Program Leaders: I," -- by Timothy S. Kroecker -- Organizations must accept that individuals receive technical training for high-responsibility program management positions but may lack the depth of experience or leadership required for effectiveness. "Program Startup Workshop," by Col. Paul Croisetiere, et al. -- The PSW's purpose is to improve the execution of programs as they progress through the acquisition process by facilitating the creation of a cohesive team. "Securing Strategic Benefit from Enterprise Architectures," by R. Suter -- Enterprise architecture facilitates the transformation of organizations into efficient users of human, organizational, or technical capital by identifying resource requirements before resources are committed. "21st Century Project Management Competencies," by Wayne Turk -- Formal training and certifications are very important, but equally important are on-the-job experience and common sense. "Learning Program Management on the Battlefield at Gettysburg," by Owen Gadeken -- A field trip to the Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield teaches DAU students that 21st century program management challenges closely match those faced by the Union and Confederate armies in the 1860s. "The Seven Sins of Memory," by Col. Scott S. Haraburda -- PMs must be aware of the most common memory problems and how to mitigate them to improve their leadership and decision making abilities. "SE and EVM Support for Performance-Based Awards," by Paul J.
