Eindrapportage van het Onderzoek naar de Meerwaarde van BMS (Final Report of the Investigation into the Value of BMS)

Abstract

Commissioned by the Royal Army (KL), TNO Defence and Security studied the value of the Battlefield Management System (BMS) with the two main questions: what is the impact of BMS's actions in both combat and peacekeeping operations and should all vehicles inside a platoon be equipped with BMS? The results are also the basis for the decision to invest in BMS. Another objective of this study is to identify the desired functionality and the necessary preconditions for the introduction of BMS to its success. This report provides a comprehensive summary of the results and conclusions of this study.
