Symposium FF: Molecular Motors, Nanomachines, and Active Nanostructures

Abstract

This symposium intersects materials research with the other sciences (physics, chemistry, biology and engineering) by bringing together some or the world's foremost scientists who share the fascination of the generation or motion on the nanoscale. The organizers anticipated that this symposium would enable discussions that help identify future directions for the development of molecular machines and inspire collaborative investigations uniquely present in this field.
