Abstract

Marine Security Guards assigned to United States diplomatic facilities overseas can legally be assigned to rooftop over watch positions during exigent circumstances. Armed with the knowledge that sufficient authority and doctrine exists, it may be necessary, or simply good policy, to ensure Marine Security Guards are posted to over watch positions such as rooftops during exigent circumstances in order to make certain the integrity of the diplomatic facility is maintained.
