Roles and Missions for ROK and U.S. Combined Marine Corps Forces in a New Era

Abstract

In the Korean peninsula, the period after 2000 is very active and ever-changing for the ROK and U.S. Alliance. Changes will be generated for the future in the aspect of not only the security environment of the Korean Peninsula but also situations for the ROK and U.S. Alliance. So, this is the time we need to explore new roles and missions of the ROK and U.S. Combined Marine Forces for a new era.
