Insurgency in Peru, Retrospective Analysis of the Sendero Luminoso's (Shining Path)

Abstract

Sendero Luminoso (Shinning Path) movement in Peru clearly demonstrates that the motivations and techniques used by the radical Islamic are not new. It proves that insurgencies are fought on a regional level as defined by indigenous populations according to their ways, means and ends.
