2007 Workplace and Equal Opportunity Survey of Reserve Component Members: Tabulation of Responses

Abstract

The 2007 Workplace and Equal Opportunity Survey of Reserve Component Members (2007 WEOR) fulfills the Congressional mandate outlined in Title 10 U.S. Code Section 481 for Joint Service quadrennial assessments of race/ethnic issues. The 2007 WEOR was designed to measure the attitudes and opinions of members regarding a wide-range of issues including demographic information; family/household information; satisfaction and retention intention; military workplace; stress, health, and well-being; personal experiences of race/ethnic harassment and/or discrimination; personnel policies and practices; training; and military/civilian comparisons of the prevalence of racial/ethnic harassment and discrimination. Results are tabulated by Reserve component, paygrade, gender, deployment status, race/ethnicity by Reserve component, and race/ethnicity by paygrade. A copy of the paper-and-pencil version of the survey instrument is included.
