Development of Cloth, Camouflage, Universal Pattern, Flame Resistant, Wool/Nomex(TM) Blend

Abstract

A new camouflage printed fabric in a blend of 50% wool and 50% Nomex was developed. The fabric offers inherent flame resistance, machine wash and tumble dry performance. The new Universal camouflage pattern does not require either piece dye or chemical treatment and used traditional wool dyes only. The printed fabric meets color specifications for the standard nylon/cotton combat uniform fabric.
