NCEMT 2001 Annual Report. Ensuring Navy Readiness Through Affordable Metalworking Technologies

Abstract

The state of the NCEMT? Ready. Capable. Agile. Escalating the drive to discover more, reach higher and top past achievements. The NCEMT, established by the Navy Manufacturing Technology (MANTECH) Program in 1988, is working on a variety of projects to ensure the availability of proven, affordable technology capable of meeting military-unique demands. Scientists, engineers and other experts at the NCEMT are partnering with industry and government leaders to identify key areas that need to be addressed to meet defense goals. Out-off-the-box thinking is encouraged. New paradigms are essential.
