Acquisition Research Program: Creating Synergy for Informed Change

Abstract

Acquisition Research Program seeks to position the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) as a recognized leader in defense acquisition research and an integral part of policymaking for Department of Defense officials. It is a goal of the program to create a stream of relevant information concerning the performance of DOD Acquisition policies with viable recommendations for continuous process improvement. In doing so, the program will prepare the DOD workforce to participate in the continued evolution of the defense acquisition process and collaborate with other universities, think tanks, industry and government in acquisition research.
