Predictive Model for Archaeological Resources

Abstract

Predictive modeling for archaeological sites uses known environmental and geophysical correlates of sites, direct historical information, theory of settlement and subsistence system, and archaeological data substantiating these to identify areas with varying degrees of archaeological potential.
