Passive Estimation of the Ocean Seismoacoustic Environment by Extracting the Green's Function From Ambient Noise

Abstract

Research done with the objective to develop the appropriate theoretical structure and subsequent processing tools and then to experimentally demonstrate utility of extracting the deterministic seismoacoustic properties of the oceanic environment from coherent processing of diffuse ocean ambient noise or scattered fields.
