Defense Explosives Safety Management System (DESMS)

Abstract

DEFENSE EXPLOSIVES SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DESMS). POLICY (ESP) -- Provides access to and promulgates explosives safety policies, directives, and reports. EXPLOSIVES SITE PLANNING (ESS) -- Prepares explosives in plan package, including site map and hazard analysis. EXPLOSION MODELLING (ESM) -- Assists user in performing "what if" analyses and provides access to approved models. MISHAP ANALYSIS MODULE (ESMAM) -- Provides access to, facilitates reporting, and provides cross-tell tool for explosive mishaps. UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE (UXO) -- Manages and graphically depicts location and status of areas containing UXO.
