Micro-PSYPRE: Toward Computing the Future

Abstract

We report on mico-PSYPRE, a proof-of-concept system that serves as a microcosm of a large, ambitious system called PSYPRE. PSYPRE is a system designed to serve as an intelligent assistant to military planners and analysts. PSYPRE is distinguished in significant part by the fact that it makes PREdictions in the PSYchological realm, as opposed to simply the kinetic. As such, this system would reflect what is today called effects-based operations, or EBO. Micro-PSYPRE can be instantiated for various psychologically-intense wargames. In what follows, we briefly describe the key features and technical details of micro-PSYPRE.
