Cold Regions Environmental Considerations

Abstract

This is an overview TOP and is organized to provide background information on the cold regions environment. In this Test Operations Procedure (TOP) an over view of the location and characteristics of the cold regions are presented along with the effects of cold weather on human physiology and military materiel. This information should be used in preparing for and understanding the need for testing in a cold environment.
