Davis, U.S.A., in which the author outlines for officers in the Coast Artillery School the Doctrine of the School, the General Rules under Which They Operate, and the Fundamental Principles of Command; "Notes on Target Practice Methods," by Captain Herbert H. Blackwell, C.A.C.; "Long Range Firing with Rectangular Coordinates," by Captain Stanley R. Mickelson, C.A.C.; "Training for the Try-out," by Captain Wade W. Rhein, C.A.C., Team Coach, C.A.C. Rifle Team, 1922; "Our Military Policy Regarding the Training of Citizens," by Major Earl W. Thomson, C.A.R.C.; and "The Cloke Plotting and Relocating Board," by 1st Lieutenant Joseph F. Stiley, C.A.C., of the Coast Artillery Board. The remainder of the journal contains the following features: an editorial on the work that lies ahead for the Coast Artillery Corps and Major Walter P.
