MATREX - Modeling Architecture for Technology, Research and EXperimentation
Abstract
The purpose of MATREX (Modeling Architecture for Technology, Research and Experimentation) is to develop a composable Battle Command-centric modeling and simulation (M&S) environment consisting of multi-fidelity models, simulations and tools that are integrated and mapped to a Future Force/Blended Force architecture for use across the acquisition spectrum. Such a software tool kit enables interoperability across commands, PEOs/PMs, and Joint Commands in the areas of research, engineering, and training. MATREX maximizes interoperability, flexibility and adaptation of RDECOM M&S capabilities to the Acquisition Communities needs.
