Geo-Cultural Analysis Tool (trademark) (GCAT)

Abstract

For many problems, an issue is the question "Where are people located in the urban environment at any given time/day?" Geo-Cultural Analysis looks at Topography + Infrastructure + People (Culture/Demography/Behavior) + Time to answer that question. Geo-Cultural Analysis is the process of identifying how culture influences behaviors and practices that can be attributed with a spatial and temporal metric and associated with physical elements of the built environment. Models and simulations are pervasive in our everyday lives. They are used to reduce cost, analyze alternatives, reduce environmental impact, improve training, conserve resources and save lives.
