DoD's Ability to Exploit the Environment in M&S

Abstract

DoD's Modeling and Simulation Executive Agents (MSEAs) enable modeling and simulation (M&S) developers and users to represent the natural environment and its effects rapidly, thoroughly and consistently in a manner that promotes cost-effectiveness, ready access, interoperability, reuse and confidence. Air Force has responsibility for air and space natural environments; Navy, ocean; National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), terrain. The MSEAs build and tailor databases on demand for DoD customers. They correlate products and the resultant effects. They are the EDCSS product distributors.
