Vapor-Phase Infrared Absorptivity Coefficient of Isopropyl Methylphosphonofluoridate

Abstract

We measured the vapor-phase absorptivity coefficient of isopropyl methylphosphonofluoridate in the mid-infrared (4000-550 /cm) at a spectral resolution of 0.125 cm(-1). The chemical used in the feedstock was subjected to a rigorous analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance to verify its purity. We describe the experimental method used to acquire the individual spectra that were used to produce the composite spectrum, summarize the statistical uncertainties in the data, and provide a comparison to similar data from another laboratory.
