University NanoSat Program: AggieSat3

Abstract

Part of the AFOSR/AFRL/VS University Nanosat 5 Program, the objectives of Texas A&M University System's AggieSat3 were to: (1) demonstrate tracking technologies, (2) demonstrate a new multi-place single ejection deployment system for pico-satellites, (3) demonstrate a Global Positioning System (GPS) system, and (4) provide a positive and relevant student experience, and encourage a diverse group of young people to pursue careers in aerospace. This final report details our design and student program in support of the objectives.
