Air & Space Power Journal Summer 2006

Abstract

The mission of the United States Air Force is to deliver sovereign options for the defense of the United States of America and its global interests--to fly and fight in Air, Space, and Cyberspace." This new mission statement retains the service's traditional emphasis on air and space operations, while the new reference to cyberspace reflects the growing importance of the informational domain. Air and Space Power Journal (ASPJ), the professional journal of the United States Air Force, continues this mission.
