Transitioning the Opportune Landing Site System to Initial Operating Capability

Abstract

The purpose of the Opportune Landing Site program is to be able to use remote surveys to determine area/soil suitability for landing or drop zone and trafficability. This briefing discusses the current state of the program, Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5, and the technology maturation plan.
